A professional consultant will come to your church and take your team through an in-depth assessment of your outreach effectiveness - using The Four Laws of Effective Outreach as a framework. They will then work with you to develop an action plan and strategy unique to your church.
What to expect OF THE CONSULTING PROCESS:
- Overview of the Four Laws of Effective Outreach with the whole leadership team.
- In-depth review of an advance survey, done with up to 100 key people in your church.
- One on one discussions between the consultant and key leaders identified in the assessment process.
- A lively, interactive day with an expanded team - during which small groups discuss the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for each of the Four Laws in your church.
- Develop an action plan with immediate next steps and a sense of direction and focus to significantly impact the future outreach effectiveness of the church.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THE CHURCH:
- Involvement of all key leaders - including pastoral staff, ministry leaders, administrative staff, etc.
- A meeting room to accommodate the group process. (Includes a flipchart or whiteboard; sound system; screen & projector.)
- Catering on-site for the group for both days.
- A single point of contact - lead person - to help do advance preparation and ensure the completion of the Outreach Effectiveness Survey by all involved.
- Provision of transportation and accommodation for the consultant. (Including payment for any travel expenses incurred.)
HOW TO RESERVE:
- Complete a Consulting Request Form and submit via email for fax to Outreach Training. (This should be done at least 3 months prior to the date of required consultation.
- Engage in a pre-consultation discussion with Outreach Training.
- Once the date and consultant is confirmed, a 50% deposit to be paid to Outreach Training.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL?
- A cancellation request that is made 60 days prior to the reserved date will incur no cost.
- A re-schedule of a consultation can only be done once, and requires 60 days advance notice.
- Any cancellation or re-schedule made in less than 60 days to the reserved date will result in the church being responsible for any travel costs incurred, as well as a forfeit of the 50% deposit.
